"When I was creating the original piece that inspired this collaboration, I was experimenting with side profile portraits to learn how to capture the personality and facial features of individuals, which fits perfectly in with the message of I AM REVEALED - discover who you are. Johnny (my husband) glanced at what I was creating and immediately reacted with, “I want to wear that.”

The process for this collaboration included a variety of mixed media. I started by painting the subject's outline with black ink, then shaded and colored the main features using pastel crayons in different shades of black, gray, and white. The faces of the man and woman slowly emerged as I moved on to each individual's hair.
